Strange coincidence: it’s three years almost to the day since I last snapped a photo of the celebrated Power (or ‘Gonk’) Droid. Glad to see him back!
Vintage Star Wars Action Figures Doing What They Do Best
One of my favorites. He and the Death Star Droid were my “alternate” R2-D2 and C-3P0 duo, since I didn’t own an artoo. I always saw the DSD as more cynical and worldly, possibly because he seems to know what’s going on during his appearance on the Sandcrawler. Also, I referred to him as “horse-telly” for some reason. What can I say? I was five.
Love it Jonesy. Horse-telly!! My daughter’s two now and has all sorts of hilarious nicknames for things. She says “Miss Piggy” just fine but Kermit is “Manya”. Also Ice Cream is “Ice Manya”. ??? Amazing to watch a new brain take shape!
My daughter dubbed those yogurt drinks “milk juice”. It’s perfect. We all call them that now.
