Blown away. No other words to describe what it felt like to unwrap my very own X-Wing Fighter(!) – given to me as a gift during Hanukkah, December of ’78.
Will, I dig your blog. I’ve never been a reader of old horror or sci-fi novels but of course I’m crazy about the artwork. Always have been. Really takes me back. Thanks for serving up some spectacular items.
Love it! Like Will said, it’s so good to see you using the ships more and more. The color in this one looks great too, it feels like it’s in a hangar bay on Yavin.
Love that picture of the two X-Wings and pilots, you got a look and feel of the Yavin base real well. Mt first X-Wing was the Empire battle Damage ship in Dagobah box. The hours of fun I had with that X-Wing, Still got it too, in just as good condition.
Thanks. And definitely check back this week. There’s a 2nd Rebel Transport shot I’ll put out on Wednesday of this week done in the same bird’s eye style as this one.
Leaving Rebel Base… what a great Bird’s-eye view shot. Bags of atmosphere. You can almost sense the nerves and anticipation of the three pilots there! The X-Wing is my favourite SW toy from childhood. Congrats on a great shot.
Love that you’re using spaceships in your photos!

THanks Whit! This one’s quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Great composition makes this one a classic!
Yep, one of my all time favorites. I think that was the first birds-eye concept I did. Love the !#$!@ out of those X-Wings.
